A Birthday present for Caren

I've know Caren for years, since we were working in a TV station together.
She loves to travel and she always buys me gifts e.g. beads, fashion jewelries whenever she visited a new area.
This year I decided to make her something using the beads that she bought for me previously, guess she might like the beads if she personally shopped for it.
Caren appreciate original handmade bead work and she's also a fashion designer, I decided to make her a chunky necklace, not something conservative and can be use while wearing a simple top or a cocktail dress.
The beads that she bought is a rectangular coin shapes pinkish with grey natural stone.
I added a pink Swarovski crystal bicone shaped beads to add a little shine and match it with gun metal chains and findings.
I also matched the necklace with lots of tassels, so that it won't be too boring.
To go with the necklace, i made a pair of matching dangling earrings with tassels.
Here are some photos of the jewelry set, I gifted her the set on the night we all went out to celebrate in a club in Hilton Sentral, KL... she wore it immediately.
And surprisingly... it goes with her outfit that night.
Happy Birthday Caren... and the set of jewelry named Caren set.
This is the one and only piece in the world... or if someone shares the same vision and designed an actual same piece, that I surely would love to see.

December 2009 Collections Part IV

For the last 2 sets of this collection, I used mainly faceted cut glass and crystal beads.

The Alexia Set is a clear and white set adding nickel metal rhinestone spacer beads, metal filigrees, metal pendants and metal beads
This set only has a short tassel necklace and a matching pair of long tassels dangling earrings.

Nothing is complete without a black set...

This is Dakota Set, with is combined with different shapes and sizes of black faceted cut glass beads, adding a few nickel with black rhinestone spacer beads and nickel bead cap to make it more interesting...

There are also some black nylon coated chains and gun metal chains as to create a dark grey and black tone.

December 2009 Collection - Part III

I am introducing 3 different designs here, all using 4 different shapes and colour of shell beads, or we normally called the mother of pearls.
The interesting part of shell beads is from every different angle and shades of light you might see a different color on the bead/s and each one are unlikely to be identical.

The Shelley set is a larger piece than the usual ones i did, normally cause of I'm designing for The Mod House, their concept is straight forward, clean and simple.. just like their clothing collections.
I put together a few types of nickel chains as tassels, and added some 4mm tiny bicone shaped faceted cut glass beads to add a little shine to the design.
This set is all about tassels with on the necklace, earrings and 5 strands bracelet.

This is the Jessie set, is definitely simpler... still nickel based to go with the colour tone of the shell beads.

This set has a simple necklace, 2 strands bracelet and a simple earring.

The Priscilla set is certainly a fun piece to a bead together... arranging it with different ways of the usual horizontal way. still it's simple enough for day us to office and even cocktail and casual night out.

This set has a necklace, bracelet and earring.

December 2009 Collection - Part II

Madelaine Set is all about semi precious stones - green and red natural stones, citrine leaf shaped beads and turquoise beads. I added some metal tube beads and green cube glass beads to brighten it up. Also not forgetting to give credit to the antique gold/copper base coins and findings for an "antique" look!
This set has a short necklace, bracelet and earrings.

DAPHNE SET is a combinations of different shaped of olive green crazy lace agate,glass beads with copper color chain and metal findings.

The necklace can be use as a 2 strands short necklace or a single strand long necklace.

Using weaving technique for the bracelet, it's shape is like a thick watch... something I rarely do because of the consume of time... but I'm using tiger's tail as the weaving cord so that it could take the stone's weight and not easily breakable like the normal elastic cords or nylon cords.

Since the design of Madelaine necklace and bracelet are a bit more complicated than the usual, so i made a simple colourful dangling earrings, like a dessert to put an end of a lavish appetizer and main course.

Helena set is another design with antique gold based metal chains.

This interesting leaf shaped semi precious stone - Citrine ( also called the "money stone" is believe to increase wealth and happiness for the person wearing them.)

I combined a few seconds of this necklace with antique filigree ( flower shaped), metal tube beads, metal rings and metal butterfly beads as to make it more attractive.

December 09 collections Part I

This is the last batch of 2009, well, it's been quite a year...Ups and downs but that's all life is about.

For this collection, i put together a mixture types of beads e.g. glass, crystals, semi precious, mother of pearl, shell, metal and others; colour combinations and metal base I came out with just 10 designs... and i still named my work using a female name.

The Amey set is using different shapes and sizes of Amerthyst beads ( another type of semi precious stone - which believe it's a spiritual stone to increase and improve memory).

I decorated them with nickel metal filigrees, purple shell and handmade beads.. and rhinestones spacer beads.

This is Welma set, mixing a rich sea green ( greenish blue ) semi precious stone 20,18, 14mm and oval faceted with side colour coated glass beads.

This set has a long necklace, bracelet and earring.

Though the "stones" are a little heavy, i guess it would look great with just any simple t-shirts, plain dresses or even a long halter neck dress.

THE MOD HOUSE Summer 09 collections Part VII

Finally, last but not least, we must have a white and black fashion accessories to go with even the simplest thing.
Both are still my favorite color, apart from green.
The following sets are good to go with working suits and even cocktail functions.

The VICTORIA SET, the only all white and silver in the entire collection.

Combination of Howlite chips (another type of semi precious stones), pearl beads, white with black lace agate, nickel metal connector and bead caps and silver footage chains with beads.

This set has a long 3 strands necklace, fully beaded bracelet with toggle clasp and dangling earrings.

A separate design, I named it Triana (tri = 3) 3 in 1 bracelet, combined with different sizes of white pearls, oval shell beads and matches with antique gold flower bead caps and spacer beads.

These 3 bracelets are linked together with an antique gold footage chain, decorated with a pearl drop.
So as you wear it, it won't be apart ;p

BERNICE SET is an almost black set, except it's bead caps and pin findings.

Using black faceted cut puffed roundelle and longish tear drop, beads, black footage chain as necklace and tassels for the necklace. The bracelet is fully beaded with black puffed roundelle beads (2 sizes) and decorated with bead caps. Same goes with the earrings.

My last set, the SIMONA set - using black faceted cut oval beads, matches with a filigree parts and toggle for the bracelet and the earrings I added some silver footage chains.

I didn't design a necklace for this set.

Started designing while i was waiting for the beads after finalizing the concept and theme with the company. The stocks arrived by second week of June (late), and I spent 3 sleepless weeks completing this collections... including stock takes, and paper work.

There's only 10 pieces of each item, by mid July - The Mod House will be distributing them to their selected outlets in East, West Malaysia and China branches... normally only available in larger boutiques, and only 2 identical sets each boutique... so it's consider a limited editions because I do not repeat the same design using the same beads anymore.

It's really a load off my shoulder at the mean time but I already start researching for the coming autumn collections.

THE MOD HOUSE Summer 09 collections Part VI

Here's another copper bronze based set named DESIREE SET, a combinations of various semi precious chips, orangy agate and puffed rectangular shaped olive green crazy lace agate. I also added some polygon cut aquamarine and clear color glass beads to make the necklace more interesting The bracelet is a like a charm bracelet with pinned semi precious stones and copper metal coins... and a simple dangling earrings.
I am sure that this set can goes with any color attire, even orange, blue and green.

This is one of my favorite set, apart from turquoise sets and shell beads is this cheerful SCARLET SET, because it looks like a bunch of candies.

I combined different sizes of puffed roundelle red, pinkish and orange beads together with Aquamarine 8mm rounded beads ( without this the whole set will be dull), corded with cotton cords and antique gold flower shaped bead caps and stopper beads.

MEL SET is using watermelon like green and black stones, with the nickel metal filigree round beads, tube beads, spacer beads and bead caps.
This set has a short necklace, fully beaded bracelet and earrings.

The CLARE SET is using handmade pink, greyish beads, combined with some metal handbag metal pendants, barrel beads and nickel footage chains.

It has a short necklace, 3 layers bracelets and a fun earrings.

THE MOD HOUSE Summer 09 collections Part IV

There are some beautiful semi precious stones in this collections e.g. the Lapis Lazuli,
Hereby I would like to introduce the Gold and Bronze Lapis Lazuli set.

- The GOLD LAPIS LAZULI SET consist of a short necklace, a fully beaded bracelet and a pair of earrings. The beads to match with are gold color metal filigree round beads, tube beads, antique gold stopper beads and bead caps.

The Bronze Lapis Lazuli long necklace, of course with lapis lazuli longish beads, bronze curved tube beads and antique gold plain (3mm) stopper beads and match with copper 3X5mm metal footage chain.

Some people might not be wearing gold color chains or accessories but may be a copper color is easier to accept... and easily goes with other brown tones attires.

The TRACY SET is combined with oval puffed turquoise beads (18X25mm) on neck area and a (30X40mm) size as the dangling drop. To go with the turquoise, I added a rounded (6mm) red glass beads to enhance the beautiful sky blue and black then parted with a metal textured ring.

There are a short necklace, a bracelet and a pair of earrings in a Tracy set.

The CLAUDIA SET is a combination of Sea green brownish turquoise of (10X20mm) cubist and puffed coin or M&M shaped (10mm), copper and blue galaxy cut 8 & 6mm of glass beads and nickel metal leaf shaped connector.

There is a short necklace, a bracelet and a pair of earrings in the CLAUDIA SET.

THE MOD HOUSE Summer 09 collections Part III

The summer collections also coming out with some interesting tops, where can be use on work and leisure, I figured it should be interesting to add some feminine touch by using shell beads.

This is Hannah set, well named by a girlfriend of mine who love green like i do.

It's a combination of green shell beads and other different shapes and sizes of glass beads like perridot color cube beads, greyish oval shaped beads and silver bicone with gold center coated beads.

This set consist of a short necklace, bracelet and a pair of earrings.

ALBERTA set is simpler, it consist of a shell pendant, rectangular shell beads and ivory coin shaped beads.

This set has a matching necklace, bracelet and dangling earring on nickel based findings.

PAULINE SET is slightly different, it is a combination of purple oval coin shaped beads, ivory hexagon shaped beads, nickel metal tube Bali beads, nickel metal rhinestone spacer bead and nickel textured ring knotted together with black leather strapes.

THE MOD HOUSE Summer 09 collections Part II

There are a few very interesting black and white agate beads that would go well with the black and white wardrobe styling concept of the Summer resort theme...

This is DONNA SET, combinations of black and white lace agate in square shaped beads, some transparent beads and black rounded glass beads. Created a short necklace, 2 in 1 strands bracelet and a pair of simple dangling earrings. Nothing fancy here, not even a glittery bead, it's can be easily match with jacket suit or even casual wear.

Elize is even simpler, using oval longish & M&M shaped back and white lace agate, accompany by rounded (4mm) black and white glass beads, finishing with gun metal chain.

Elize set is only consist of a long necklace and a dangling pair of earrings. Also nothing fancy, I do not want to distract the interesting patterns of the agate beads.

## it's hard to find 2 identical beads for making earrings because normal natural stones has different patterns of it's own.

The theme for the summer 09 collection of TMH is resort life...
Would like to share some photos of the mood board of the company

I am using mostly semi precious stone for the collection - Agate mainly, there are also some Turquoise, Lapis Lazuli, different colors of lace agates etc. Also mixing with a little shell beads, pearls, metal and a variety of glass beads.

Had created 16 designs, most of them have a matching earrings and bracelets.

I have named all my creation using a lady's name... because I think each piece has their own character and own beauty.

Redesigning Projects part VI - Bracelet E (4 designs)

This is the last elastic corded bracelet (I named it Bracelet E) which needed to be redesign...

The beads that comes together with the bracelet are:
1 pieces of 30X18mm irregular shaped clear faceted crystal,

6 pieces of 12X8mm uneven shaped cubist clear faceted crystal beads,

6 pieces of 6X3mm sized donut shaped clear faceted crystal beads and,

2 huge nickel curved metal beads.

I have created 4 sets of different designs using the same amount of beads...

Design 1: Simple Crystal pendant necklace, earrings and bracelets with embossed heart shaped pendants:

Design 2:

This is a simple long necklace and chunky earring set.

Design 3

Also another simple necklace, using the original curved metal beads .

The earrings are weaved together to make it chunkier and elegant.

Design 4:

Adding 8mm sized nickel filigreed beads, rhinestone spacer beads and black metal footage chain for a Gothic looked set...

this set has a simple one strands necklace, earrings and bracelet.

I'm finally done with all 5 different bracelets...

My favorable ones are:-

Redesigning Projects Part V - Bracelet D - design 3 & 4

Bracelet D has the above tinted brown faceted crystal beads..

Design 3:

Making a simple drop necklace, bracelet and earrings. This time i did not add any beads, use using the original ones, including the gold curved metal tube beads to create a necklace, bracelet and earrings.

Design 4:

This is the biggest piece of all, still using the same amount of beads but adding some copper footage chains, gold tube beads and copper coins.

I created a chunkier necklace and a pair of tassels earrings

Redesigning Projects Part IV - Bracelet D - design 1 & 2

BRACELET D
The above elastic corded bracelet is the original ones given to me to be redesign.
It has more beads because it is like a 2 in 1 bracelet, and here the the different shape and sizes of tinted brown crystal beads:
Coin shaped crystal (14x14x3mm), butterfly beads (6mm), round (8mm) & bicone (4mm) also not forgetting some gold curved metal tube beads. The beads are smaller in size compare to the previous bracelets.

Design 1:

Created a long necklace and earrings, also added metal tube beads and nickel with purplish rhinestone spacer beads to make it more interesting.

Design 2:

Adding metal butterfly beads, I managed to make a necklace, bracelet and long earrings using the same amount of tinted brown crystal beads.

Redesigning Projects Part III - Bracelet C

Bracelet C... also originally elastic corded, has the following faceted tinted brown crystal beads:
Coin shaped (20x12x4mm), Donut shaped (10x8mm) & (8x6mm) and gold curved metal tube beads.


Design 1:

I restring the actual bracelet, almost like the original design using elastic cord adding nickel toggle clasps and footage chains.




Design 2:

Using the actual nickel metal tube beads for the necklace and a tassels earring.




Design 3:

Using nickel bead caps to form another design of necklace and earrings.

Redesigning Projects Part II - Bracelet B - design 1 & 2

The above photo is the bracelet that i was being given to me to redesign, it's actually a elastic corded with gold curve metal tube beads.
The following are the different shapes and size of tinted brown faceted crystal beads with comes with the bracelet:
Butterfly beads (10x8mm) & Bicone shaped beads (6mm)

I added metal butterfly beads to make it more interesting and made a nickel and antique gold version of the same design.

Redesigning Projects Part I

I was given 5 different elastic corded crystal beaded bracelets and requested to redesign them into different types of fashion jeweleries...
After I dismantle the actual bracelet, it doesn't really have a lot of crystal beads...

Here, i name the 1st bracelet: Bracelet A.... which has the following beads:
Donut shaped faceted cut, tinted brown crystal beads in 12x12x10mm and 8x8x6mm sizes

I used Antique gold color findings and footage chains, also adding similar color bead caps to make it more vintage.

Research for The Mod House Summer09 collection

I am researching for the upcoming The Mod House Summer Collections 09
The theme of the collection is resort mood..
I starting searching for pictures related to this theme and gathering color charts...
Here are some of the materials I'll be using for the collections.. before I design, I usually wanna feel for the theme, so I also search for related music...
Nowadays, summer resort life is not only beach wear, thinking about shopping, evening night outings, dinner parties, going for a drive, sight seeing etc... all those activities of of urban chic women.
Hmm... I found my inspirations and I wanna share here are the research photos.

The Mod House Spring 2009 collections Part II

Another nickel based necklace, combined with two thick rhinestone bead spacer and a clear faceted tear-drop shaped crystal bead.... the Rowena necklace.




The following necklace is also a nickel metal based, using two different faceted metalic grey colored shaped beads. This I named Bianca necklace.

If you have noticed my previous work, you can see that i love to combine different types of beads in a design... this is a fun necklace.. using various nickel pendants, faceted metalic, clear and white glass beads and bead caps. This is named Olivia necklace.

all 7 designs and I added Dorothy designs (copper color coins and diamond shaped beads necklace & earring sets - created by end of December, 2008) are to be send for the brand's spring collection photography session on this coming Sunday. Though the brand emphasis more on their clothings then accessories but I will continue to create more interesting designs... my main purpose is to do what I believe and love doing.

Mainly of my designs in this collections are in nickel based and used different shapes of faceted crystal bead..



The Caressa Necklace:

This is named Faith Necklace.. this is actually a long necklace, using different shapes of shell beads, diamond shaped glass beads and metal rings.

I designed it to be wore as a short necklace when it is double strands.

Using different sizes faceted donut shaped clear crystal beads, clear and silver rhinestone spacer beads, clear faceted diamond shaped crystals and metal footage chain... I created Diana Earring and necklace set.

The Cathy necklace... using gold base metal footage chain, long gold beads and heart shaped glass beads. same concept as the Faith necklace, can also be wore as short necklace when it's double strands... I love the fancy hook as the center piece.

Well, it was fun especially my dad loves to take photographs too but we headed home for lunch since auntie Mary had cooked up some of our favorite food! and it started to rain when we reached the Botanic garden...

My Chinese New Year 2009 - trip to Labuan with Daddy

Chinese New Year 2009 falls on 26th & 27th January... I flew back to Kota Kinabalu to meet up with dad before we travel back to our hometown for the festival..
There's always a grand CNY eve dinner at my uncle Paul Lau's house with all family and my auntie Mary. My other uncles in Sandakan and Brunei are unable to go Labuan this year.. it's the second year without them so I really missed them.
Now that Mom's gone, it's also lonely for just me and dad to spend the festival alone in KK so we always go back to Labuan to spend it with uncle Paul's family.
Our flight back to Labuan take off at 0720hrs on 25th Jan, which was on the eve... woke up pretty early that morning, settled packing and headed to the airport at 6am.
This year I booked the air ticket late and since all economy seats are all taken, we have to settle in at the business class.



After the plane took off from Kota Kinabalu International airport, i managed to shoot some photographs of the city,

It was a clear morning, and surprisingly Mount Kinabalu seems very clear from afar..
When the airplane reach Labuan island, I was so lucky to be able to see a rainbow...
This is the 1st time i saw rainbow in flight.. wow amazing!




We reached Labuan international airport and headed straight to uncle Paul's house.
It's a Sunday and seems everyone was at home...

My aunties and cousin sister was busy preparing dishes for tonight's dinner.
The dinner started at around 7pm and here are the dishes...

I really have to put this in my blog...

When I took Vicky to the veternery a week ago, a middle age lady took her dog there too...
It's a brown male cocker spaniel, I think he has urinal problem because I saw him trying to pee but can't.. that's sad but... here's what happened

Lady: Hello doctor, I think my dog is sick, he can't pee
Doctor: ok, let me check...
Lady: My husband said if he cannot pee and needs operation or expensive medical fee then put him to sleep
Me: PUT TO SLEEP.... U HAVEN'T REALLY KNOW WHAT'S WRONG WITH HIM YOU WANNA PUT HIM TO SLEEP?
(I was so pissed... how can someone be so cruel)
Doctor: No... don't make any decision 1st... let's give him x ray, then see what really happens to him... he looks healthy apart from the problem that he's having right now.
Lady: My husband said he won't be paying for the medication fee that is more expensive that the price of the dog... but i'm willing to let you check what happens...
Me: Please don't simply kill your pet... he's also a member of your family... he's adorable.. don't give up...
Lady: Ok, please take him x ray...

When I took Vicky home, the poor dog is still at the vet...
I hope he's ok...
I really don't understand why some people treat animal like killing an ant?
I felt sad and frustrated that I can't do anything to help
I hope that his lady owner can talk to her husband, telling him not to put the dog to sleep because he is just a little not well...
why can't people see and treat their own pet as a member of their family... Dogs, cats and every living thing have feelings too.

My little 4 year old Angel was found, eye infection... but that was cure by the vet by giving her eye drops and she had her yearly vaccination on Christmas eve, will takes about 2 full weeks to recover and grand back her anti body.

Then Vicky... my11 years old pom/Pekingese mix... she have a weak heart and kidney problems and this has to be maintain by giving her a drug daily namely "fortekok" and special dog diet name renal.

Vicky was screaming with pain on Christmas eve when i tried to hold her... and she don't wanna eat and move.

I panic... and called my regular vet..

and i found out that she also has slight blood in her urine.... OH MY GOD....

I called the vet again at 2am... and he's kind enough to guide me how to treat her and willing to open his clinic to see Vicky on Christmas day.

I didn't sleep all night... afraid that something might happened to her... and took her to see the vet 1st thing in the morninig on Christmas day.

Doctor found out that she had joint problem and suggested to take her for x ray...that will have to wait for another 2 days due to public holidays and booking and suggested just to give her pain killer before we had her x ray.

On Saturday 27th December... took Vicky for X ray... since she is so active and doctor gave her some tranquilizer to keep her relax.

I have to leave her with the doctor because he have to take her to another clinic for x ray.

I went back to pick up Vicky after 3 hours... she was in a cage, shivering and tearing when she saw me... i know she's still feeling dizzy because of the tranquilizer...and thought that I left her...poor girl..

When doctor showed me her x ray negative.. i nearly cried... her left leg (joint) is nearly worn out... no wander she was screaming with pain... and she her back bone is slightly bend.

He gave her more medications, antibiotics, 2 types of pain killer, eye drops, calcium etc...

When i took Vicky home, she's still drowsy... her whole body is weak and energy less...

Two days later after the x ray.. one night, suddenly Vicky's left leg was cramp.. her whole body shivering and she didn't make a sound at all... eye open wide and I can see that she's really in pain... lots of pain....
Luckily, the pain killer works and she was alright after a while....

Vicky usually have no problem taking medications in pill form but this time it's capsule... I've to pour out the powder, mixed with a little water and force feed her!

Now, I have to monitor her 24-7... and her medication schedule...
after breakfast, fortekok, the after 2 hours will have to give her antibiotics, then her daily calcium.

after dinner, her daily vitamin, after an hour will give her another capsule of antibiotic and her pain killer... waited for another hour for her another liquid medicine.. before she goes to bed will have to treat her eye drop...

I don't mind taking care of Vicky and Angel...because when i adopted them, I had made a commitment that i will do my best to take care of them..

I prayed to God so that they'll be healthy and happy.

The Mod House fashion show on 07th Dec, 08

I took about 88 photos during The Mod house fashion show yesterday afternoon.
The mall was packed of people/shoppers and lots of professional photographers there waiting for the show to start while i find myself at the front stage.

I did went to the back stage an hour before the show, to see if i could help. Well, they are all organized with about 7 dressers there so I think I should go take some photos of their hard work.

I'm glad that i added some sequins to the necklaces and earrings, it glitters while the lighting hit the model and I'm feeling happy to see my designs goes well with the theme.

Christmas mood sets..

The Mod house will be having a fashion show today - 1pm, Sunday 07th December, 2008.

The location of the show is at Mid Valley Mega mall, where the flagship boutique is located.

Their theme of course is Fun Christmas and i am glad to be given a chance to create a few pieces of accessories to go with the theme for their finale outfits.

Well, I was provided 3 different color balls which normally use to decorate Christmas trees, to make into 5 sets of necklaces and earrings.

Chunky, bright, and eye catching is what I am gonna create...

Sometimes is really fun to use material other than the normal glass, crystal beads.

and I named all of the Santa's sets!

Here's 1st SANTA's set.. using just fushia balls and team up with nickel findings and footage chains.

To make it more interesting, i added red and peach color sequins.

"SANTA'S 2nd SET" is a mixture of Fushia and red color balls, and also red and peach color sequins with nickel findings and footage chains.

I used 3 types of different textured, size and design chains.

3. SANTA'S 3rd set... is using gold color findings and footage chains.

also adding a thick metal ring as the center piece to hold the heavy tassels.

The main theme is fushia and red color balls... and i also added some gold coins.

"SANTA'S 4th set" Using gold color findings and chains.

But main color is just Red and gold color sequins.

The last piece, SANTA'S 5th set - using just gold color decoration balls and gold findings and chains.

To make it more interesting, I added light green and sea green color sequins.

Well, here are the last few sets, I think there should be some gold base set,
This is named Gwen set... Using gold Rhinestone ball and similar color beads.




The Chloe set, is a simple drop necklace, using nickel color rhinestone spacer and of course my favorite rhinestone balls.

Here's a simple drop earring which i named Caressa, since the faceted cut crystal is beautiful enough on it's own, i didn't wanna spoil it limelight.

And lastly the Rowena necklace.. using clear faceted cut tear drop and oval shaped crystals.

This season, i didn't produce much.

most is 6 pieces for each design. except for some pieces like Rowena, Caressa and Brenda, there's only 2 pieces per design.

This black set is names Stephenie set.

Using lots of donut shape black crystals, rhinestones spacer and rhinestone balls.


I am now in love with long necklace.

think it will really complete a simple look, even if a person is just wearing t-shirt and jeans.

and also with he matching earrings can also complete the look while attending functions.

Here are some of the sets that will be available at The Mod House outlet by December, 2008.

1. This is Jane set - using flat round shell beads and nickel metal connector.



This two necklace is named Brenda, using faceted crystal beads in silver and black color.
** consider limited edition because i only make 2 pieces each color.


3. Barbra set.
using a combinations of black rhinestone balls, teardrop shape faceted crystal beads and nickel pendants.

4. Teresa set, another black and clear beads combinations of different shapes beads

5. Isabelle set.

Nickel chains and findings with donut shape faceted cut crystals.

Another Korean dinner

I went for another Korean restaurant for dinner with my dearest Jessie and Phoena a few days ago.

The restaurant is located at Danau Taman Desa... 1st floor, just above a "mamak" coffee shop.

We ordered some barbecue pork shoulder, belly, tiger prawn and the famous "Ginseng" chicken soup.
There's about 10 different types of starters from a varieties of salads, fish cakes, kimchi of course, eggs etc...

and also steam egg..

They also serve watermelon and barley ginger drinks as desert.. as to cool down after the barbecue.

The bill... less than RM100... Not bad for a 3 person meal!

but honestly...

the food I'll give 3.5 stars

environment 3 stars

Services - Korean lady boss 4.5 star

service from a worker -3 star.... he was rude as he served us... throwing the food and plates rudely etc..

we were pissed off but lucky their lady boss quick came and save his as#....

I will go back again for an average Korean meal...just because it's not far from where I stay.

You might think I am weird but I really love to take photos of the sky.
I think the sky changes every second when you look at it in different angles and directions...
My interest of photography is actually encouraged by my dad,
He's the one who loves photography since I was really young and also I want to have more similar interest.
Sometimes when you travel and see something or some place you like,
this is the only way to capture and then review it later or share with friends.
Well, some people just think that i am weird coz i really love to take pix of sky, landscapes and sea especially when I'm on the plane.
I think it's God's beautiful creation, why don't we appreciate it?
